My name is Chris and I am a firefighter discontinuous Italian. For a long time, I deal with fire, civil protection and security, but I have a great passion, which are the fireman helmets, including its history. I would like to conclude the series Italian, and I am missing two that used during the 40-50 years, the model Rome and the national model 38, both of leather with metal ridge. Wanted also a model that was used in the city of Trieste in early 900, when there was the Austro-Hungarian empire.
I do not have many helmets, and among those I have, I can have a typical American( Cairns & B.1010,1044,N5A,1000,880,Morning Pride ,Ben II,). No wonder a new and bright, but one in ok, also lived, provided a low price.

I have retired and have these items for sale...
I have a nice radio set up that I used (new ear pieces now installed) on our Motorola HT1000 - I think it will also fit these radios below.

HT1000, JT1000, MT2000, MTS, MTX8000, MTX838, MTX900, MTX9000, MTX960, MTX-LS, XTS2000, XTS3000, XTS3500, XTS5000

One is a Push to talk - other is just a receiver type... both work great under the helmet and is a great way to be able to hear the radios -- you see a lot of cops using these.... on the Push to talk... only YOU hear the transmission,,, I would wear the PPT button on my shirt or coat... not to easy to feel with heavy gloves on but super easy to feel with either bare hands or with EMS gloves on... I bought the PPT set up for about $150 - the other was made for me as a test unit - I tried to get the Dept to buy one for everyone - too much $$$, so it is brand new - its only a receiver and Not a PPT - still works great to get the message right to your ear..

Cairns G5A Presentation Helmet. Manufactured in 2001. Has Kevlar earflaps Gorilla-glued in and bronze shield holder installed. No holes drilled for bourkes or chinstrap. $300. Never in-service, rarely handled.

2 Helmets for sale.... Two year old Morning Pride Ben 2 Plus, "FDNY Spec" black shell with black earflap, in good shape only a few scratches but needs a chin strap. 1992 Sam Houston n6a, Black with carved eagle, Yellow earflap, New Gloflex tetrahedrons. About a inch of wore showing on the back brim, it is easily repairable. The plastic shell in the inside was removed to cut weight and make the helmet lighter.........for questions or pictures on either of these helmets email me.

Morning Pride Ben 2 Plus for sale. I recently purchased a new helmet and have no use for this one. It is about 3 years old and is "FDNY spec", black composite shell with black earflaps. Its been through a few fires but only has normal scratches from wear and tear. Many years of life left.

I have bought a 1977 Ford 8000 pump truck and have 400 ft of supply hose - Is there any adapters available anywhere to make a smaller hose attach to it and a nozzle to that hose? A reducer from the supply line to a hose small enough to take a nozzle. Thanks.

I have a 1952 American LaFrance engine that needs to be restored. I have all the historical documents with it, build sheet, title etc. It was refitted in 1983 it came from North Carolina. The pump has been removed, it has a Cummins diesel engine w/5spd tranny. The body is in good shape. The only problem is I don't have the time to mess with it and the storage is eating me up.
