I work at a surface coal mine as an equipment operator, and I am also on the fire department out there. The emergency response team is not a high priority to the mine, as our gear is very outdated and damaged. I am looking hopefully for a traditional fire helmet. I like the Cairns 1010, but anything that looks like that style would be great. It must have a face shield and be yellow due to company policies. Looking for the greatest deal I can find, so I don't have to keep using the helmet I have out there for work. Thank you!

Here's an offer that you don't see to often. I have a leather fire helmet that was issued to me brand new 24 years ago and I never used it. It's in great shape and Cairns sells it for around $450. It has the plastic insert in the lining. I received this 1/28/1985. Cairns sells this for $450.00 Soon to be a relic. Cairns N5A New Yorker™ Leather Fire Helmet. My name is Chris and I am a firefighter discontinuous Italian. For a long time, I deal with fire, civil protection and security, but I have a great passion, which are the fireman helmets, including its history. I would like to conclude the series Italian, and I am missing two that used during the 40-50 years, the model Rome and the national model 38, both of leather with metal ridge. Wanted also a model that was used in the city of Trieste in early 900, when there was the Austro-Hungarian empire.
I do not have many helmets, and among those I have, I can have a typical American( Cairns & B.1010,1044,N5A,1000,880,Morning Pride ,Ben II,). No wonder a new and bright, but one in ok, also lived, provided a low price.
